KUCHING, Mar 6: Will federal ministerial appointment be on the agenda during Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) supreme council meeting tomorrow?

There is a high likelihood that it will be discussed as this was the response of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg when asked by the media today if there was any discussion on the matter with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“No, there were no discussion on that (cabinet posts). Tomorrow I have PBB supreme council meeting,” he said when asked by reporters after attended the soft launching of Songket and Keringkam gallery here.

Abang Johari paid a courtesy call to Muhyiddin last Sunday evening at the latter’s house when Abang Johari went to congratulate Muhyiddin on his appointment as the 8th prime minister of Malaysia.

The meeting between Abang Johari and Muhyiddin was believed to have lasted for more than one hour.

Upon returning to Kuching, Abang Johari had denied that there was such a discussion when asked by media in the official functions that followed.
