KUCHING, Feb 11: Members of the public came to the aid of a 29-year-old man who sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at Jalan Tatau today.
According to a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call about the accident was received at 8.38am, and firefighters from the Tatau station were deployed.
Upon arrival, the operations commander noted that the accident involved a car that crashed into the side of the road.
The operations commander also noted that members of the public assisted the victim and brought him out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
A cervical collar was put on the victim, as well as a lower limb immobiliser, who was later handed over to the ambulance to be brought to the Tatau clinic.
The operation ended at 9.22am. — DayakDaily
