KUCHING, Sept 5: Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has issued notices regarding two upcoming partial road closures in Kuching Division, which are scheduled to facilitate road resurfacing works at key flyovers.
According to the notices, the first closure will be at the CityOne Flyover, affecting the route from Simpang Tiga towards Jalan Tun Jugah.
This partial closure will begin on Sept 6 and is expected to continue until Sept 17. The closure is necessary for resurfacing works, and JKR Sarawak urged road users to exercise caution while traveling through this area.
The second partial closure will occur at the Kenyalang (BDC) Flyover, affecting the route from Kuching International Airport Road to Jalan Tun Jugah.
This closure will start on Sept 12 and is expected to continue until Sept 23. Similar resurfacing works will take place, and motorists are reminded to remain vigilant when passing through the construction zone.
