Partial road closure from Aug 7–Sept 30 to facilitate entrance route construction to Unimas Teaching Hospital, Prima Health Centre

KOTA SAMARAHAN, Aug 7: Public Works Department (JKR) Samarahan Division will begin constructing an entrance road to Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) Teaching Hospital and Prima Health Centre in Kuching-Samarahan Highway here from today (Aug 7) until Sept 30.

Thus, the left lane has been proposed to be temporarily closed to give way for the construction work.

Following this, the department requested road users to be careful when driving along the affected road and to obey all traffic instructions throughout the construction period.

“JKR Samarahan Division will inform should there be any changes on dates, times and areas affected.

“Road users are also advised to plan their journeys ahead if they need to travel to the said road area. All inconvenience is deeply regretted,” the department said.
