KUCHING, Sept 7: There will be a partial road closure along Jalan Tun Razak from Sept 9 to Nov 8 for tree cutting work.
According to Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) in a statement today, the closure is part of the development of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) Phase 1 project involving the construction of the Red Line’s autonomous rapid transit (ART) network from Kuching Sentral to Pending.
The tree cutting work will start at 9.30pm until 4.30am throughout the 61-days duration.
Sarawak Metro advises road users to be cautious when passing through the affected road including to adhere to all traffic management and safety signs.
It added that public will also be informed of any changes to the partial road closure.
