KUCHING, Feb 19: A section of Jalan Wan Alwi, near the traffic lights at the intersection with Jalan Urat Mata and Jalan Bayor Bukit), will undergo a temporary partial closure from Feb 20 to March 5 for tree-cutting works.
In an advisory notice, Sarawak Metro, the agency overseeing the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS), stated that the closures will occur daily between 9am and 4pm.
Road users are advised to exercise extra caution when navigating the affected area and follow traffic management measures, road warning signs and speed limits to ensure safety.
Any updates or changes to the work schedule will be communicated to the public.
Road users are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance.
