Pahang Regent Tengku Hassanal enjoys leisurely cruise along Sarawak River

KUCHING, Jan 19: Pahang Regent Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah graciously embarked on a royal cruise along the Sarawak River yesterday evening (Jan 18).

According to a report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the Sarawakians’ heartthrob arrived at the Kuching Waterfront at 8pm, where he was welcomed by Sarawak’s Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication (Utility) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi and Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts (Tourism) Datuk Sebastian Ting Chew Yew.

Also present to greet His Royal Highness were Deputy State Secretary (Operations) Datu Hii Chang Kee and Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng.

While cruising the Sarawak River, Tengku Hassanal took the opportunity to greet the people warmly, waving to the excited crowd, who were delighted by his presence on the cruise ship.

Afterwards, he enjoyed an evening feast of local traditional dishes.

Earlier yesterday, Tengku Hassanal visited the ‘Algae Nursery Site Resintech SEDC’ in the Demak Laut Industrial Park.

In the afternoon, he continued his royal visit to the PETROS Darul Hana Multi-Fuel Station. – DayakDaily
