Only three per car during MCO in Sarawak starting Saturday (May 29)

KUCHING, May 28: Only three persons are allowed to travel in one car, effective tomorrow until June 11 under the statewide Movement Control Order (MCO) in Sarawak, which will come into effect on May 29.

As per latest MCO standard operating procedures (SOP), the passengers capacity for logistic vehicles carrying goods and providing essential services will depend on the number permitted as stated in their trading vehicle’s registration licence with police permit.

Drivers and workers are also required to be screened for Covid-19 every two weeks.


Public transport services will have to operate at 50 per cent capacity to avoid overcrowding. — DayakDaily
