KUCHING, May 24: Under the new stricter Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) standard operating procedures (SOPs), only three people are allowed in private vehicles starting May 25, 2021 (Tuesday) until June 7, 2021.

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today, under the new additional SOPs, children below the age of 12 are also not allowed to be in public, open and crowded areas without reasonable excuse.

The additional SOPs also allow the operation of public transportation services, but with only 50 per cent of the passenger capacities.

Apart from that, the usage of MySejahtera application must be top priority where the premise operator is required to check their customers’ status and only allows those who have low risk to enter.

The new stricter SOPs guidelines were announced by SDMC today following a high number of Covid-19 cases reported recently. — DayakDaily
