SIBU, April 14: Only essential services are only allowed to operate with 50 per cent workers capacity from 6am to 8pm in Sibu Zone during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period that has been extended until April 26.
Under the latest movement restrictions and standard operating procedures (SOP) imposed for Sibu Zone except Sibu Jaya, all essential services are also required to obtain a police permit to operate.
Other than essential services, all other sectors are not allowed for the time being.
These restrictions apply to Sibu District involving residents living in Zone 1 to Zone 7 which cover areas in Sukun/Lada, Mantis, Poh Yew, Bukit Lima, Tong Sang, City Centre, and Tiong Hua.
Restaurants or food and beverage outlets are only allowed to operate for take-away and delivery as dine-in services are strictly not permitted.
Sibu Central Market as well as spa and reflexology centres, massage centres, night clubs, pubs and karaokes are not allowed to operate.
The number of individuals in personal vehicles is limited to three persons only.
Sports and recreational activities are not permitted while religious activities are subjected to compliance with SOP issued by respective religious authorities and Unit for Other Religions (Unifor). — DayakDaily
