One-lane closure on Jalan Miri Bintulu to Taman Tunku traffic lights extended to June 30

MIRI, June 18: The temporary one-lane closure along Jalan Miri Bintulu to the Taman Tunku traffic lights, in front of 3Q Riam and Chung Huat Hardware, has been extended until June 30.

An advisory notice issued by Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak’s Pan Borneo Highway Division today stated that the closure is necessary for ongoing road upgrading works.

Initially, the temporary one-lane closure was scheduled from June 6 until 16.

Motorists are advised to exercise extra caution when approaching and navigating through the construction area, and to comply with safety signage for their own safety.
