KUCHING, April 26: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy visit from OCIM Sdn Bhd at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday (April 25).
According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the delegation was led by its president and chief executive officer Steve Choi Sung Kil.
The company expressed its intention to continue investment cooperation in business areas that can be explored, especially in solar technology.
Meanwhile, Abang Johari also witnessed the handing over of donations by OCIM Sdn Bhd presented by its vice chairman of OCI Company Ltd, Korea, Lee Woo Hyun to Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers Sarawak (Sabati) amounting to RM100,000 to Sabati president Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.
Apart from that, OCIM Sdn Bhd also contributed RM200,000 to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) which was received by its chairman who is also the Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas. — DayakDaily
