KUCHING, March 16: The National Registration Department (NRD) counter at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) which facilitates the registration of births and deaths will cease its operation effective from April 1, 2023.
In a notice today, NRD said the operation of the SGH branch will be relocated back to the NRD Kuching Headquarters at Bangunan Tun Datuk Patinggi Tuanku Haji Bujang, Jalan Simpang Tiga here.
Any matters related to the registration of births and deaths in Kuching may be addressed at the NRD Kuching Headquarters or NRD branch at UTC Sarawak.
NRD also apologised for all the inconveniences caused due to the closure of the branch counter at SGH.
