KUCHING, March 30: Search and Rescue (SAR) operations for the missing man at Panggau, Sri Aman, entered its third day with no new sign of his whereabouts.
The victim was reported missing last Friday (March 27) after his motorcycle was spotted at the oil palm area.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department, search and rescue by three different teams have covered Empadi forest including routes leading to Tinting Melaban, Wong Sg Bunah and Genting Kerumpok.
“The fourth team started their search from Empadi forest to Bukit Tampah area, covering a one kilometre radius for the search of the missing victim.
“The SAR operation ended around 5pm and no signs can be found. The operation will be continue tomorrow,” the department said in a statement. — DayakDaily
