“Only after the budget session we will know the details, then on Sarawak’s part, we will implement our part of salary revision,” he said in his winding-up speech as the Minister for Finance and New Economy in Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) sitting here today.

Abang Johari said the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government greatly appreciates the commitment and sacrifices of all Sarawak civil servants.

“For now, we are conducting a detailed study on this adjustment so that it is more competitive in line with the duties and responsibilities of Sarawak civil servants as well as the financial strength of the Sarawak government,” he said. — DayakDaily
