No new Covid-19 cluster; 10 new cases linked to two existing clusters

KUCHING, Oct 11: No new Covid-19 clusters are reported in Sarawak today, while two existing clusters record an addition of 10 new cases.

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), out of the total number of new cases recorded, eight of them were reported from Bungey 2 Cluster in Betong.

“Two other new cases are from Kampung Lintang Baru Cluster in Serian,” it said in a statement today.


On the same note, the committee disclosed the end of five clusters in Serian, Sarikei, Sebauh, Pakan and Kuching, after zero new infections were reported within the last 28 days.

The clusters are Kampung Kakeng Cluster in Serian, Sungai Kerubong Cluster in Sarikei, Sungai Sujan Mapok Cluser in Sebauh, Sungai Dabai Cluster in Pakan, and Laman Bong Chin Cluster in Kuching.

As of today, a total of 67 clusters remain active throughout the state. — DayakDaily.
