BINTULU, Jan 10: A woman in her 40’s was found unconscious in her rented room on Thursday evening (Jan 10) in Taman Sri Dagang Bintulu.
She, however was pronounced dead by medical personnel from Bintulu hospital who rushed to the scene after being alerted.
A team of Bintulu police personnel were also despatched to the scene.
State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief, Senior Asst Comm Denis Leong Soon Kuai when contacted later, ruled out foul play.
He said, the case is being classified as sudden death.
The deceased was found unconscious inside the room located on the second floor of a house around 5.40pm.
Her remains have been taken to Bintulu Hospital morgue for a post mortem. — DayakDaily
