KUCHING, Feb 23: A landslide occurred at the main road of Kampung Robak Rotan, Tringgus, this afternoon but no injuries were reported in the incident.
Kpg Robak Rotan village chief informed authorities of the incident at around 12pm. However, no properties were damaged during the incident, nor was the village cut off from road accessibility.
State Disaster Management Committee also reported that nine families have to be evacuated from their homes at Kampung Sungai Lumut and Kampung Buntal following a flash flood amid the pouring rain today.
The families were placed at a flood relief centre at Sri Buntal civic centre. — DayakDaily
