KUCHING, Jan 25: The Niah section of the two-way four-lane Bintulu-Miri road is set to open on Jan 31 at 10am.
According to an advisory by Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), the location is at KM 863.1–KM 864.6 of the Bintulu-Miri dual carriageway (CH82+600–CH84+104).
The diversion junction will be completely closed for the installation of road barriers.
“Road users are reminded to exercise caution and follow the road safety signs provided,” Sarawak JKR stated, emphasising the importance of caution when in the vicinity of the construction site. — DayakDaily
