KUCHING, April 25: The recently completed St James Church in Bintangor will benefit the Anglican community in the area.
According to the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the church was built thanks to the efforts of Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing, who presented funds under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP), as well as the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor).
With that, Ding hoped that the Anglican community in Bintangor would continue to maintain good relationships with one another.
“If the church is lacking in equipment or infrastructure, come to the service centre and make a request,” he said at a thanksgiving dinner on Sunday (April 23).
The dinner was to show appreciation to devotees who have helped in the construction of the church. — DayakDaily
