KUCHING, July 25: Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, through its Pan Borneo Highway Branch, has announced the opening of a new four-lane dual carriageway along Jalan Miri-Bintulu, stretching from Kampung Sungai Dalam to the traffic light junction at Taman Tunku, tomorrow (July 26).
This development is part of the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak project, specifically under Work Package Contract 11 (WPC11).
Road users are advised to be cautious when navigating this newly opened section, especially as ongoing construction may still be present along parts of the route.
JKR Sarawak further urged road users to comply with all posted safety signs.
The department acknowledged the temporary inconvenience caused and expressed appreciation for the public’s cooperation during this period. — DayakDaily
