NCID disposes 10 years’ worth of items in drugs related cases

KUCHING, Nov 22: The state Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) has disposed 10 years of items related to drug cases worth RM40,074.65 yesterday.

According to a statement from the police, the disposed items are from the year 2008 until 2018.

Among the items disposed were urine bottles weighing 77.65kg in total, as well as various drug with a total weight of 557.56 grammes, namely Methamphetamine (225.67gm), Cannabis (216.94gm), Ecstasy pills (18.42gm), Eramin 5 pills (70.89gm) and Nospan pills (45.64gm).


The disposal process was successfully conducted at the Kuching Integrated Waste Management Park by Trienekens Sdn Bhd, in Mambong, Padawan, utilising an incineration method.

Among those present during the disposal process were Sarawak NCID deputy chief DSP Tumar Lunya, deputy public prosecutors Muhammad Hafiz Musa and Nurfadzlin Mahmad Zulhasnan among others. — DayakDaily
