“I am also targetting the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam which will be my last international level contest,” he said after paying a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah at the latter’s office here today.

However, before going for these contests, Buda will be competing in Kuala Lumpur where he is the sole representative from Sarawak to vie for the Anugerah Khas MAKSAK besides receiving a MAKSAK incentive.

Meanwhile, Buda is interested in passing on his experience and talent in the sport to the youth.

“I am looking for a gymnasium where I can do so. I have requested Datuk Amar Uggah to help me in this respect.

“I have also told him I am interested in travelling to Betong and other rural towns to introduce or promote the sport among rural youth,” he said. ā€” DayakDaily
