KUCHING, Nov 22: Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) today acknowledged concerns over the Darul Hana Musical Fountain, which was highlighted by Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong, who had urged the Sarawak government to disclose the schedule and specifications of the project yesterday.

“The matter pertaining to the project is now being audited by Jabatan Audit Negara, and they should be left to complete their work without any intervention by any party,” said DBKU in a statement.

DBKU maintained that the state government was firmly committed to ensuring accountability and transparency. In addition, DBKU had also recently issued a statement welcoming the Auditor-General’s Office to thoroughly audit the project.
