Mutilated body of Indonesian man found after suspected croc attack near Asean bridge

MIRI, Dec 22: A 49-year-old Indonesian man, who was feared to have been attacked by crocodile while fishing near the Asean bridge in Kuala Baram, was found dead today.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Lutong team discovered the mutilated body of the victim at around 11.13pm, approximately six kilometres downstream from the operation control post.

Bomba Lutong, which spearheaded the search and rescue operation (SAR) on the fourth day, retrieved the body found, which had been found floating in the river.

The body was later handed over to the police for further investigation, and the operation was concluded at 11.50am. — DayakDaily
