SIBU, Mar 20: Sarawak Workers’ Party (SWP) has lost its president, Munan Laja after he tendered his resignation today.
Munan said he had submitted his resignation letter to the party secretary office at 8am today.
“For the time being, I wish to take a break from politics and I am giving way to others to lead the party,” he said in the statement issued today.
Munan thanked all party members, the supreme council, youth, women and the main body for their support and co-operation rendered to him during his tenure since 2015. —DayakDaily
