Following the meeting, MPP outlined four approaches to support police operations.

These include collaborating with utility companies to cut electricity once illegal activities are confirmed by the police, working with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to block related websites, and revoking business licences through the Council.

In addition, MPP said it would provide full manpower and logistical support to assist enforcement operations led by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

“MPP reaffirms its full commitment to support the police in all enforcement actions to ensure Padawan remains a safer and better place for its residents,” the council said. — DayakDaily
