MIRI, Sept 10: A 27-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries in an accident this morning at KM41 Miri Coastal Road around 11am.
He was said to be on his way to Bakun from Miri on his motorcycle in a convoy with two other friends.
It was believed that the victim lost control of his motorcycle and veered off into the opposite lane after hitting the rear side of a car, ramming into an oncoming four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle.
He was pronounced dead by medical personnel who rushed to the scene after receiving a report of the accident.
The body has been brought to Miri Hospital for further action. — DayakDaily
