PADAWAN, Dec 25: A motorcyclist died early this morning after crashing into a road divider at the Mile 13, Jalan Kuching-Serian roundabout.
According to a statement from state Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the victim, 37, was heading from Serian towards Kuching at about 2.15am. When the victim reached the roundabout, he lost control of his ride before hitting the road divider.
The impact threw him off the motorcycle and he suffered injuries to his head. Medical personnel from Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) pronounced him dead at the scene. The remains were later taken to SGH for further action.
