KUCHING, Nov 26: Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri is free from Covid-19.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Motac)’s press statement, one of its agencies, Tourism Malaysia officer was confirmed positive Covid-19.
“After contact tracking and investigation was carried out, it is confirm that Nancy is not and has no direct contact with the officer.
“This matter has also been confirmed by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH),” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Nancy has taken a proactive initiative and underwent a swab test at 5.15pm yesterday. The result of the swab test is negative.
As an extra precaution, she was to undergo another swab test this morning.
To address the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Motac building in Putrajaya was sanitised by MOH officials yesterday afternoon.
All Motac officers and staff working in its Putrajaya building were instructed to Work From Home (BDR) and undergo self-quarantine at home effective today. — DayakDaily
