Mosque, churches and temples in Batu Kawa sanitised

KUCHING, May 22: All places of worship including mosques, churches and temples in Batu Kawa area have been sanitised.

According to a Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) media release today, Batu Kawah assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian has made arrangement for the sanitisation operation to be done in public areas as well as houses of worship after receiving requests from respective management.

Assisted by Padawan Municipal Council and Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the operation was successfully carried out.

The operation was part of the preventive measures implemented by the state government to curb the spread of Covid-19 in Sarawak.

SUPP reiterated the state government’s advice to the people on adhering to rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the Movement Control Order (MCO) to combat the Covid-19 together. – DayakDaily
