KUCHING, May 5: Two houses at Lot 201 Jalan Patinggi Ali, Kuching, were engulfed in flames in an early morning fire.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a call regarding the fire at 3.04am and swiftly responded by dispatching a fire rescue team from Padungan to the incident with the Batu Lintang fire rescue team summoned to provide further assistance.
The Bomba reported that one of the houses was 90 per cent burned down, whereas the other sustained 50 per cent damage. Additionally, a motorcycle was completely consumed by the fire.
Fortunately, all the residents were safely evacuated.
The fire was completely extinguished at 5.05am, with the cause of the fire still under investigation. — DayakDaily
