More than 80,000 Covid-19 vaccinations administered in Sarawak on July 12

KUCHING, July 13: Sarawak has administered more than 80,000 Covid-19 vaccinations in a single day on July 12.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said there were 29,691 recipients getting their first dose and 52,377 recipients getting their second dose yesterday.


“In total, there were 82,068 doses administered.

“Cumulatively, a total of 2.02 million doses have been administered in Sarawak which comprises 1.413 million for the first dose and 609,248 for the second dose,” he told reporters after visiting the Padawan outreach vaccination centre (PPV) at Kampung Bra’ang Bayur here today.

Concerning the mobile vaccination outreach programme in Padawan, he said 61.82 per cent of the residents or 4,987 people in Padawan have received their first dose while 15.43 per cent or 1,245 people have been jabbed with their second dose. — DayakDaily
