Missing septuagenarian of Tatau found

The victim is being placed on a stretcher by the SAR team after she is found.

TATAU, Oct 28: A septuagenarian who has been missing for four days is found in a safe condition in a Search and Rescue (SAR) operation.

According to information from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center, the victim Rami Jati was found at 11.06am today.

After searching the area within 400 meter radius of the longhouses, Rami was found safe but was in a weak condition where she sustained some minor injuries.


She was brought back using a stretcher by the SAR team before ambulance personnel took over and sent her for treatment at a nearby clinic.

Rami was reported missing last Thursday after believing to have gone out from the back door of Rh Bair Longhouse to nearby jungle. — DayakDaily
