TATAU, Oct 25: The Search and Rescue (SAR) operation for 78-year-old Rami Jeti will resume tomorrow, as efforts to track the victim has not been successful.
According to the state Fire and Rescue Department operation centre, the victim, from Rh Bair, Bandar Samarakan in Tatau, was reported missing yesterday (Oct 24) at 9am.
She was believed to have gone out from the back door of the longhouse to the nearby jungle.
A SAR operation comprising Tatau Fire and Rescue, the police, Civil Defence Force (APM) and 16 villagers from the longhouse were deployed in search of the victim.
However, until late afternoon today, the victim is yet to be found. The will resume tomorrow. — DayakDaily
