SERIAN, Jan 18: A septuagenarian from Kampung Entayan here was found safe not far from the village today, after going missing for eight days.
State Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) operation center in a statement said the victim was found at 12pm today by SAR personnel together with the local villagers in Kampung Entayan farming area, which is within 1 kilometer radius from the Bomba Search and Rescue (SAR) center.
“The victim was found in a weak, as well as tired, condition, but safe,” the statement said.
The victim was later handed brought to Serian Hospital by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) for further treatment.
Earlier on, a police report on missing persons was made by the victim’s son-in-law on Jan 11, 2020 at the Serian police station after the 70-year-old had failed to return home for six days.
