KUCHING, May 15: A 69-year-old man in Simunjan who has been reported missing since May 11 has yet to be found.
According to a report from Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Department operation centre, the search and rescue (SAR) operation, which entered its fifth day today, was joined by Bella, an English Springer Spaniel, and one of the six canine officers of the Bomba K9 Unit from the Serian station.
“The operation was conducted using the surface searching (water rescue) method within a radius of 10km from where the victim was reported missing.
“However, the victim has yet to be found, and the SAR will continue tomorrow (May 16),” it said.
The victim, Ili Bahayan, was reported missing in a river near Kampung Sungai Labi in Simunjan on May 11. — DayakDaily
