MIRI, Feb 10: The Malaysian Red Crescent, Miri Branch (MRC) Blood Donor Recruitment Committee in collaboration with the Moving Communities Team and Miri Indian Association is organising a Valentine’s Day blood donation event this weekend (Feb 12 and 13).
The blood drive is scheduled to starts at 8.30am until 1pm on both days.
The venue will be the Malaysian Red Crescent, Miri Branch, Training Institute, Jalan Bulan Sabit.
The Blood Donor Recruitment Committee chairman Cr Karambir Singh said certificates of appreciation and light refreshments will be given out to blood donors.
He urged members of the public to come forward and donate to maintain sufficient blood stock levels at Miri Hospital.
The theme for the blood donation is “Share Love, Share Blood”.
The organising chairman for the Valentine’s Day blood donation event is Cr Karambir Singh, while the co-organising chairpersons are Cr Susan Supang from the Moving Communities Team and Thomas Sadasivan from Miri Indian Association.
