KUCHING, June 2: A driver in his early 20s received light injuries after he lost control of his car and collided into road barriers at Jalan Sibu, Taman Tunku Abdul Rahman, Miri just after midnight.
The Fire and Rescue Department(Bomba) was contacted at 12.32am and deployed a team to the scene immediately.
According to the Bomba report, firefighters reached the scene and immediately came to the aid of the conscious victim, who had injuries on his right leg. The victim was later handed over to medical officers who reached the scene afterwards.
The firefighters also moved away the barriers which were obstructing the road.
After making sure the road was safe and clear for other road users, the firefighters returned to their station. — DayakDaily
