MIRI, June 14: A 20-something man who was caught red-handed stealing bras from a house in Curtin Water, a residential area here, should thank his lucky stars that the affected houseowners decided not to lodge a police report.
Hence, he was released shortly after he was apprehended by the residential area’s security guards at about 5.45pm on Wednesday.
The bras were hung on the clothes line within the house compound when the young thief came by.
Video footage of the whole episode went viral last night, and it shocked members of the public here. The 29-second video clip showed how the suspect was caught and later scolded in public.
Police in a mobile police vehicle (MPV) rushed to the scene when the alarm was raised. — DayakDaily
