KUCHING, Jan 22: Miri City Council mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang has given assurance that the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Miri will resolve the chicken and egg shortage in the market.

According to a report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Yii said there had been some complaints from consumers regarding these issues, and KPDNHEP is actively monitoring the situation.

“It is under control, and supplies will be restocked in the next few days. Regarding the increase in prices, it is due to the rising cost of production.
