MIRI, April 17: Twenty-three (23) existing streetlights along the Pujut Adong area will be upgraded to LED lighting.
Pujut assemblyman and Miri Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang said the project costs approximately RM150,000 and is expected to complete by this May.
“The installation project will start in front of SK Pujut Corner here,” said Yii.
He added it would benefit residents in the area and school students.
LED streetlights are not only brighter, but it is also more environmentally friendly as it uses less energy consumption. — DayakDaily
