KUCHING, March 7: A delegation of nine members from Miri City Council (MCC), led by its mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang, paid a courtesy call to Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng today at the MBKS office in Kuching.
According to a MBKS press release, after the brief courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to a briefing session on the Kuching Festival.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about the management and achievements of the 2022 Kuching Festival Food Fair and to share experiences.
2022 Kuching Festival Food Fair chairman, councillor Goh Tze Hui, and deputy chairmen councillor Wilfred Mujah Aton and councillor Iskandar Sharkawi, and all the secretariats involved were present.
The study visit aimed to ensure the smooth implementation of the 2023 Miri Food Fair which is going to be held this year and also to ensure that it will receive a good response from the people of Miri.
The exchange and sharing session covered common issues, solutions, and applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the Kuching Festival Food Fair. — DayakDaily
