KUCHING, Aug 23: Political pundit Dato Peter Minos believes the ‘Malaysian Family’ concept touted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob would provide a new breath of life and rejuvenate the spirit of togetherness among Malaysians for the country to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and build the economy towards recovery.

In a statement today, he said the prime minister’s approach is meant to unite everyone in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic and the current economic crisis.

“The spirit of national unity and people’s cooperation behind the ‘Malaysian Family’ concept is fresh air and the right move created by our new PM Ismail Sabri given the public health and economic crises we are in now.

“The political turbulence and mess must stop for Covid-19 to be beaten and for the economic recovery to be stepped up,” he said.

He opined that most Malaysians are now fed up and sick of political quarrels among the politicians and anything that unites and makes people cooperate and help each other is gladly welcomed. — DayakDaily
