“KWB must be better prepared and resilient to face future challenges, adopting dynamic and effective approaches in managing treated water supply,” he was quoted as saying by TVS.

He made the remarks while officiating at the KWB Appreciation Dinner for the Excellent Service Awards 2023 and the Retiree Recognition 2024 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Nov 1.

Julaihi noted that Sarawak’s current water supply coverage has now reached 85.4 per cent, reflecting the State’s commitment to meeting residents’ essential needs, with a target of full coverage by 2030. — DayakDaily
