KUCHING, Jan 19: School students will no longer be required to wear their school uniforms throughout the week as they can have two days of school uniform, two days of sportswear, and one day of co-curriculum attire for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek disclosed this during a New Year address to her Ministry’s staff today.
She said the decision was made following deliberation with stakeholders, parents, teachers, and the community.
She added that more details would be provided in an official announcement letter that would be handed out to schools. — DayakDaily
