Minister distributes bubur lambuk, food baskets in conjunction with Ramadan

KUCHING, March 26: Women, Family and Community Development Minister Dato Sri Nancy Shukri distributed 1,000 packs of ‘bubur lambuk’ to members of the public at the Darul Hana Mosque junction in Petra Jaya today.

The distribution was held during the launching ceremony of ‘Program Bubur Lambuk dan Sumbangsih Ramadan Media Sarawak dan Liansin 2023’ in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.


Nancy was join by Deputy Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, who also distributed the ‘bubur lambok’ to motorists passing by.

Apart from that, Nancy also presented 100 food baskets consisting of one bag of rice, one bag of sugar and an apron to community leaders in the area, including to 20 recipients from Kampung Pulo Hilir and Kampung Pulo Hulu.

Jointly organised by Federation of Sarawak Journalists Association (FSJA) and Sarawak Press Photographers Association (SPPA) together with Liansin, the programme will continue in three locations in Kuching, as well as in Samarahan, Sibu, Bintulu and Lawas. — DayakDaily
