KUCHING, May 27: A sport utility vehicle (SUV) burst into flames during a late-night incident at Jalan Stutong here on Monday (May 26).
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 11.59pm, and firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the vehicle, which was a Proton X70, was destroyed by the fire.
It was also noted that the driver was able to get out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
“Firefighters proceeded to extinguish the flames and, after ensuring that the fire didn’t spread, returned to the station,” said the report.
