KUCHING, Nov 9: A thunderstorm warning has been issued for Kuching and Samarahan this morning by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to affect Kuching and Samarahan, according to a MetMalaysia advisory notice issued at 8.35am today which is valid until 11am.
“A thunderstorm warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity of more than 20 mm/hour that is close or expected to last for more than an hour,” the notice said. — DayakDaily
