KUCHING, Nov 30: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a thunderstorm warning for various areas in Sarawak this morning.
Anticipated weather conditions include thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and strong winds affecting Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, and Sibu (Selangau). The warning, issued at 10.40am today, remains in effect until 2pm.
“A thunderstorm warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity of more than 20 mm/hour that is close or expected to last for more than an hour,” it highlighted. — DayakDaily
